The University of Tennessee Health Science Center maintains a comprehensive group of donor recognition clubs and societies designed to extend appreciation and recognition to generous Health Science Center contributors.
1911 Recognition Society
The 1911 Society is comprised of varying levels which recognize leadership annual donors. The UT Health Science Center recognizes and values our relationships with lifelong donors whose visionary partnerships help turn our shared priorities into reality.
Levels include Annual Giving Donors, Lifetime Partners, and Sustaining Members.
The Hershel P. Wall, M.D. Legacy Society
The Legacy Society was created in honor of Dr. Hershel “Pat” Wall, former Chancellor and Dean of the College of Medicine for the UT Health Science Center, former Special Assistant to the UT President, and former Instructor in Pediatrics. Donors become members of the Legacy Society by making a planned gift or bequest. For more information on this society, please contact the UTHSC Office of Advancement at 901-448-5516.

The Annual Giving donor memberships honor leadership annual donors whose collective giving each fiscal year (July 1 through June 30) reach the following levels:
1911 Milestone Member: $100–$249
1911 Visionary Member: $250–$499
1911 Dean’s Alliance Member: $500–$999
1911 Chancellor’s Circle Member: $1,000–$2,499
1911 Patron Member: $2,500–$4,999
1911 Hyman Associate Member: $5,000 and above
1911 Society: Lifetime Partners
Membership is based on cumulative giving to the UT Health Science Center campus. All giving to any UT Health Science Center college, program or campus-related effort is included. The following levels are recognized:
Leader Partner: $25,000–$99,999
Fellow Partner: $100,000–$249,999
Benefactor Partner: $250,000–$499,999
Founding Partner: $500,000–$999,999
Laureate Partner: $1,000,000 or greater
1911 Society: Sustaining Partners
UT Health Science Center donors are a distinguished group who provide needed support for our campus. Perhaps the most extraordinary among this group are those who have proven their loyalty through at least five years of consecutive financial support—and in some cases way beyond those first five years. Those who have shown their dedication through consecutive years of support are recognized in the following levels:
Archway Partner: 5–9 years
Cornerstone Partner: 10–19 years
Foundation Partner: 20 years or more
