Bradley Boucher

Bradley A. Boucher, PharmD, FCCP, FNAP, MCCM, has retired from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy after nearly 40 years of esteemed service.

Dr. Boucher received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota. Following graduation, he completed an ASHP Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Kentucky. Upon completion of his fellowship in 1984, he joined the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. He has contributed to the education of countless pharmacists, 76 Critical Care residents, and 9 Critical Care fellows. He has published over 120 manuscripts, 36 book chapters, and edited 13 books.

He was founding president of the Mid-South College of Clinical Pharmacy (1990), president of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (2001–2002), and national president of the Rho Chi Honor Society (2016–2018). He is one of only 9 pharmacists in the world to honored with the status of Master of Critical Care Medicine. During his final year, Dr. Boucher led the UTHSC College of Pharmacy through a major transition as interim dean. A capstone event in his career was recently announced, as he was named the American College of Clinical Pharmacy 2023 Paul Parker Medalist. Finally, his two greatest achievements were marrying his wonderful wife Barb and raising his three sons, Alex, Andy, and Adam.
