Medicine White Coat Campaign

The annual White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage that welcomes incoming students to the College of Medicine and ingrains essential qualities for future physicians.

By offering uplifting words and supporting the White Coat Ceremony, alumni, faculty, and peers have a distinct and lasting impact on students at the beginning of their medical journey. The students are deeply appreciative of and excited for this moving experience…and the donning of their white coats for the first time.

We invite you to sponsor a UTHSC College of Medicine White Coat and stethoscope for a first-year student with a gift of $200. Please share a note of encouragement that becomes part of this inspirational experience when it is presented to your student recipient.

Thank you in advance from the excited, grateful future physician who will be proudly wearing your UTHSC Medicine white coat this year!
