Medicine White Coat Campaign

The White Coat Ceremony is a defining rite of passage for students in the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. This ceremony not only welcomes incoming students to the College of Medicine but is a milestone in their journey as future physicians.

As students are responsible for purchasing their own white coats, this added expense that can pull focus from their studies and increase an already significant financial burden.

We invite you to sponsor a UT Health Science Center College of Medicine White Coat for a first-year student with a gift of $200. Your generous gift will also provide a stethoscope and help ensure this is a moment of pride and encouragement, not additional financial stress.

When making your gift, you may also include a note of encouragement or congratulations, which will be shared with the student during the program’s ceremony and becomes part of this inspirational experience.

Thank you in advance from the excited, grateful future physician who will be proudly wearing your UT Health Science Center Medicine white coat this year!
