Health Professions White Coat Campaign
The White Coat Ceremony is a defining rite of passage for students in the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Health Professions. At each program’s ceremony, students formally pledge professionalism, marking one of the biggest days of their academic career.
As students in Physical Therapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Occupational Therapy, and the Master of Cytopathology programs prepare for their individual ceremonies, they are responsible for purchasing their own white coats, an added expense that can pull focus from their studies and increase an already significant financial burden.
We invite you to sponsor a UT Health Science Center College of Health Professions White Coat to support our students and help ensure this is a moment of pride and encouragement, not additional financial stress.
A gift of $100 supports one student’s white coat and helps offset the cost of their ceremony. When making your gift, you may also include a note of encouragement or congratulations, which will be shared with the student during the program’s ceremony.

Thank you in advance from the excited, grateful student who will be proudly wearing his or her white coat this year.
