The UTHSC College of Health Professions recognizes alumni annually in two categories: Outstanding Alumnus Award and Recent Alumnus Award.

About The awards
Outstanding Alumnus Award
The Outstanding Alumnus/a in each discipline or program is selected by a committee representing the particular discipline and recognizing graduates who have achieved distinction in one or more of the following areas:
– Community service
– Leadership local, regional, state, or national professional organizations
– Excellence in practice, teaching, or research/scholarship activities
– Other significant accomplishments or contributions to the profession, institution, or community
Recent Alumnus Award
Recognizes an outstanding graduate within the last 15 years whose achievements have been significant to the UT Health Science Center, to the general welfare of his/her community and to his/her profession.
