2022 Outstanding Alumna Award Winner
Lynn Ingram is a 1973 graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. In 1981, she received her Master of Science degree from Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis). Her commitment to quality education has been demonstrated through her service as a full time faculty member at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Several years after her retirement, she continued to teach as an adjunct professor. Throughout her career, she mentored countless new laboratory students.
Lynn has fervently promoted her profession serving in multiple capacities with ASCLS, National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), Memphis Society for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (MSCLS), and Tennessee Society for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (TSCLS). Lynn has made numerous presentations at local, regional and national conference and meetings. She has added over 30 publications to career, including the honor of authoring a chapter in a Chemistry textbook. She remains active in her church where she has served on several committees.
